Through volunteers, Incident Alerts sends out alert notifications on current events and incidents to your email address, cell phone or other text receiving address. USEmergAlerts began in June of 2011 in an urgent need for real time twitter based emergency incident notification. Seeing as 90% of the emergency alert twitter feeds are un-confirmed incidents. When USEmergAlerts began tweeting confirmed emergency information on incidents, it met the needs of many dispatcher and enthusiasts all over.
